Multi-Shot Moulding is a cost-effective
method to produce injection molded plastic
parts combining two or more colors molded at
one time to produce the final component .
KTM design and build high quality multi-shot
molds for a wide range of applications. The
two primary types of multi-shot injection
moulding are:, rotation mould and over-mould
. The basic idea of Rotation mould is that
the moving half of the mold contains as many
cavities as there are shots, and it rotates
these cavities to the injection position
before each shot.
Over-mould means to make two sets of
mould , after produce one plastic part then
take this part into other mould to produce
the final part .
